Mr. Mohiuddin Abdul Kadir (Mr. MAK), the President of MCLaw Services Ltd, is a veteran Admiralty and Dispute Resolution Practitioner, focusing on Marine Insurance Law, International Trade Law, International Dispute Resolution, and Shipping (wet and dry) with an astonishing 40-year career. Following a career at sea as a Master Mariner, he transitioned himself as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
Having cultivated a strong network in the maritime community, Mr. MAK honed his legal expertise by managing diverse marine insurance claims, spanning salvage, collisions, wreck removal, cargo claims, and personal injury. Mr. MAK provides strategic counsel to ship owners/operators, P&I Clubs, and H&M Insurers, handling various marine claims. His specialization embraces the investigation of diverse marine claims, offering guidance on initial casualty response and resolution of subsequent issues. While he focuses on collision and salvage claims, Mr. MAK also adeptly advises on charter party and insurance disputes arising from technical challenges like machinery failures, fire, and cargo damage.
Mr. MAK founded MCLaw Services Ltd., a leading law firm in Bangladesh. The firm has grown to become one of the most prominent law firms, serving major conglomerates, government concerns, and corporate houses. They not only cater to ship owners, P&I clubs, insurers, and re-insurers but also clients across various sectors and industries including Corporate & Commercial, Foreign Investment, Banking and Insurance, Building and Construction, Company matters, and Arbitration matters.

Speaker at the National Conference on Measures of Improve Safety in Inland Shipping jointly organised by the Association of Marine Engineers and Naval Architects, Bangladesh and Nautical Institute, UK, Bangladesh Branch on 25th September 2002.
Speaker at the National Conference of Safe Port Issues in the context of Chittagong Port organised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Bangladesh Council at Dhaka, Bangladesh on 27th March 2011.
Speaker at the International Conference of the Society of Construction Law India at New Delhi, India on 12th November 2017.
Speaker at the International Conference on the Fair Treatment of Seafarers organised by the Seafarers Right International at Manila, Philippines on 13th November, 2018.
